Intake Manifold Assembly: Disassembly

  1. When the engine coolant (engine side) is drained before removing the intake manifold assembly
    1. Remove the throttle body. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO(HEV))>THROTTLE BODY>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the purge control solenoid valve. Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO(HEV))>PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the EGR pipe. Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO(HEV))>EGR PIPE>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the manifold absolute pressure sensor. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO(HEV))>MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the engine wiring harness stay (A) and collector cover bracket (B).
