Keyless Entry Control Module: Installation

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Install the keyless entry control module.

    Tightening torque: 

    13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)

  2. Install the trim panel assembly D pillar LH and the trim panel assembly apron LH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR QUARTER TRIM>INSTALLATION .
  3. Install the rear seat cushion assembly. Ref. to SEATS>REAR SEAT>INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
  5. When the keyless entry control module is replaced, register the transmitter ID. (Model with TPMS) Ref. to TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>REGISTER TRANSMITTER (ID)>OPERATION .
