Active Grille Shutter: Installation

Install the ambient sensor.
Install the active grille shutter to the bracket active grille shutter front.
Install the active grille shutter and the bracket active grille shutter front as a unit in the order as shown in the figure.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

Connect the connector to the active grille shutter actuator.
Connect the connector to the ambient sensor.
Install the under cover front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>INSTALLATION .
Install the bumper face front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
When the active grille shutter has been replaced, perform the calibration (execute the system operation check for ACTGS control). Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO)>ACTIVE TEST .
