Oil Level Switch: Installation
- Use a new O-ring to install the oil level switch, and install the clip to the oil pan upper.NOTE: Apply engine oil to O-ring.
Tightening torque:
6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)
- Secure the oil level switch harness with clip, and connect the connector.
- Install the engine mounting LH.
Tightening torque:
35 N.m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)
- Lower the engine and remove the lifting device and wire ropes.
- Remove the ST.
- Install the front drive shaft LH. Ref. to PROPELLER SHAFT/DRIVE SHAFT/AXLE>FRONT DRIVE SHAFT>INSTALLATION .
- Install the electric power steering gearbox. Ref. to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM (POWER STEERING)>ELECTRIC POWER STEERING GEARBOX>INSTALLATION .
- Install the nuts which hold the engine mounting to the Cross Member COMPL front.CAUTION: Be sure to use a new nut.NOTE: Make sure that locators (a) of the engine mounting are securely inserted.
Tightening torque:
90 N.m (9.2 kgf-m, 66.4 ft-lb)
- Install the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DO)>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION .
- Install the transmission harness in original position.
Tightening torque:
7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)
- Install the TCM. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM)>INSTALLATION .
- Install the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
- Install the air intake duct.
- Install the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>COLLECTOR COVER>INSTALLATION .
- Fill engine oil. Ref. to LUBRICATION (H4DO)>Engine Oil>REPLACEMENT .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
- Set the panel COMPL front hood to the normal position. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>STAY ASSEMBLY FRONT HOOD .
- Install the striker assembly front hood. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>FRONT HOOD>ASSEMBLY .
