Oil Pressure Switch: Installation

Apply seal material to the bolt threads of oil pressure switch, and install the oil pressure switch.
NOTE: Before applying the seal material, degrease the oil pressure switch and the thread portions of the chain cover.

Seal material:

THREE BOND 1324 (Part No. 004403042) or equivalent

Tightening torque:

18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
Connect the terminal, and attach the rubber cap.
Tightening torque:

1.5 N.m (0.2 kgf-m, 1.1 ft-lb)

NOTE: Fix the terminal within the range of 90° as shown in the figure.

Check the engine oil level and replenish the engine oil if necessary. Ref. to LUBRICATION (H4DO)>Engine Oil>INSPECTION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
