Front Exhaust Pipe: Removal

CAUTION: Vehicle components are extremely hot immediately after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
Remove the Cross Member support rear LH. Ref. to FRONT SUSPENSION>CROSS MEMBER SUPPORT>REMOVAL .
Disconnect the front oxygen (A/F) sensor connector (A), rear oxygen sensor connector (B) and the ground cord (C).

Separate the front exhaust pipe and rear exhaust pipe.
NOTE: Suspend the rear exhaust pipe with rope etc.

Remove the bolt which holds front exhaust pipe to hanger bracket.

Remove the front exhaust pipe.
CAUTION: The front exhaust pipe is very heavy. Be careful not to drop it when removing.
