Collector Cover: Removal

  1. Remove the collector cover in the order shown in the figure.
    CAUTION: The operation must be carefully performed; otherwise the collector cover may be damaged.
    NOTE: Check the cushion (a) and grommet (b) for peel-off or disengagement.

    1. Pull up the collector cover at portion (A) and pull out the protrusion at the collector cover backside from the grommet (B).
    2. Slide the collector cover towards the front of the vehicle to remove the collector cover from the collector cover bracket (C).

  2. Remove the collector cover bracket.
    NOTE: Perform this procedure only when required.
