Parking Pawl: Installation

  1. Confirm that the inhibitor switch is in the "N range".
  2. Install the parking pawl shaft (A), return spring (B) and parking pawl (C).
    NOTE: Make sure that the end of return spring sticks out of parking pawl as shown in (a). Make sure that the other end contacts the rib of transmission case as shown in (b).

  3. Install the extension case. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>Extension Case>INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the electric oil pump. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>Electric Fluid Pump>INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the transmission body. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>Transmission Assembly>INSTALLATION .
