Reverse Brake: Inspection

  1. Check that there is no deformation, cracks or other damages.
  2. Check the driven plate for discoloration (burnt color).
  3. Make sure the clearance between retaining plate and snap ring of reverse brake is within the limit.
    NOTE: If it exceeds the limit, replace with a new drive plate and select and adjust the retaining plate within the standard value. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>Reverse Brake>ASSEMBLY .
