Fuel Filler Pipe: Installation

NOTE: For the installation procedure of fuel filler lid, refer to "Fuel filler lid". Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>REMOTE OPENERS>INSTALLATION>FUEL LID .

Open the fuel filler lid.
Insert the fuel filler pipe assembly into the ring clip from inside of the rear fender.
Install the bolts and nuts securing the fuel filler pipe assembly.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

Install the circulate tube (C) to the clip (D).
Connect the circulate tube (C) to the fuel tank. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>QUICK CONNECTOR CONNECTION (TYPE F) .
Connect the drain tube (B) to the canister. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>QUICK CONNECTOR CONNECTION (TYPE G) .
Connect the fuel filler pipe (A) to the fuel tank. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>QUICK CONNECTOR CONNECTION (TYPE I) .

Install the mud guard rear RH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>MUD GUARD>INSTALLATION .
Install the fuel filler pipe protector.
