Keyless Access Control Module: Removal

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the combination meter assembly. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>COMBINATION METER>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the reinforcement meter.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the screw release the claw and remove the reinforcement meter.
    NOTE: Remove the GPS antenna assembly and the telematics sub antenna as an assembly.

  4. Remove the keyless access control module.
    CAUTION: Be careful to keep water and other foreign materials away from the keyless access control module terminals.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the bolts and remove the keyless access control module.
