Power Rear Gate Touch Sensor: Removal
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the trim panel assembly rear gate LWR. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR GATE TRIM>REMOVAL .
- Remove the power rear gate touch sensor.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Release the clips, and then remove the power rear gate touch sensor.
CAUTION:- Applying excessive force to the harness may damage the water shield. Always disconnect the connector first.
- If the water shield has been broken, replace it together with the power rear gate touch sensor to avoid water leak.
