Oil Level Switch: Installation

Use a new O-ring to install the oil level switch, and secure the harness with the clip.
NOTE: Apply engine oil to O-ring.

Tightening torque:

6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

Secure the harness with clip, and connect the connector.

Install the engine mounting LH.
Tightening torque:

35 N.m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)
Lower the engine and remove the lifting device and wire ropes.
Remove the ST1 and ST2 from the engine unit.

Install the TCM. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM)>INSTALLATION .
Install the front drive shaft LH. Ref. to PROPELLER SHAFT/DRIVE SHAFT/AXLE>FRONT DRIVE SHAFT>INSTALLATION .
Install the electric power steering gearbox. Ref. to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM (POWER STEERING)>ELECTRIC POWER STEERING GEARBOX>INSTALLATION .
Install the nuts which hold the engine mounting to the crossmember COMPL front.
CAUTION: Be sure to use a new nut.

NOTE: Make sure that locators (a) of the engine mounting are securely inserted.

Tightening torque:

90 N.m (9.2 kgf-m, 66.4 ft-lb)

Install the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DO)>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION .
Install the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
Install the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>INSTALLATION .
Install the V-belt cover.
NOTE:
- Check the grommet for peel-off or disengagement.
- Be careful not to deform the bracket during installation.
Tightening torque:

7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)
Fill engine oil. Ref. to LUBRICATION (H4DO)>ENGINE OIL>REPLACEMENT .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Set the panel COMPL front hood to the normal position. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>STAY ASSEMBLY FRONT HOOD .
Install the striker assembly front hood. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>FRONT HOOD>ASSEMBLY .
