Oil Pressure Switch: Installation

  1. Apply seal material to the bolt threads of oil pressure switch.
    NOTE: Before applying the seal material, degrease the oil pressure switch and the thread portions of the chain cover.

    Preparation items: 

    Seal material: THREE BOND 1324 (part No. 004403042) or equivalent

  2. Install the oil pressure switch, and connect the connector.

    Tightening torque: 

    18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)

  3. Check the engine oil level and replenish the engine oil if necessary. Ref. to LUBRICATION (H4DO)>ENGINE OIL>INSPECTION .
  4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
