03 Hood Open
Detecting condition:
- When the front hood lock is released during Auto Start Stop operation by the user.
- When a malfunction occurs related to the hood SW during the Auto Start Stop.
Trouble symptom:
Buzzer sounds and the Auto Start Stop is canceled.
- INTERVIEW CUSTOMERS

Check if the hood opener lever is operated during Auto Start Stop.
Is the hood opener lever is operated?
Yes: Go to 2 .
No: Go to 3 .
- INTERVIEW CUSTOMERS

Check when the trouble occurred.
Does it match the time stamp? Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>TIME STAMP .
Yes: Normal.
Cancel code is recorded by the user operation.
No: Go to 3 .
- CHECK DTC
.
Read the DTC of [Auto Start Stop] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to AUTO START STOP (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Are any DTCs displayed?
Yes: Perform the diagnosis according to the DTC. Ref. to AUTO START STOP (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>LIST .
No: Check for poor contact of the body integrated unit connector and hood switch connector. When there is no failure, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
