Active Grille Shutter

The active grille shutter may open and close without warning, even when the engine is not ON. Do not place your hand, cloth, tools or other items nearby at any time.

To prevent unexpected deployment, turn the ignition switch to OFF and disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, then wait at least 30 seconds before starting work. Also, wait at least 30 seconds before starting work after connecting the battery.
