Engine Oil
- Park the vehicle on a level surface.
- Pull out the oil level gauge, and wipe away the oil.
- Reinsert the oil level gauge all the way. Be sure that the oil level gauge is correctly inserted and properly orientated.
- Pull out the oil level gauge again, and check both sides of the oil level gauge. Use a lower side to determine the engine oil level. If the engine oil level is below the "L" line, check for oil leakage from engine, and add oil up to the "F" line.
- Start the engine, and confirm that the oil pressure warning light goes off.
- After turning off the engine, wait for five minutes or more until the engine oil returns back to the oil pan, then check the oil level.NOTE: To prevent overfilling of engine oil, do not add engine oil above "F" line when the engine is cold.
