Stay Assembly Front Hood

  1. Always attach the stay assembly front hood to the normal position when performing works such as inspections and general maintenance.
    CAUTION:
    • During the inspection and general maintenance, always be sure to turn the ignition switch to OFF.
    • At the inspection and general maintenance, do not detach the stay assembly front hood.

  2. When wider hood opening is necessary, perform the following operations.
    1. Remove the cover fender UPR.

    2. As shown in the figure, set the stay assembly front hood mounting position (front hood side) to the lower position (hinge COMPL front hood section), and the mounting position (vehicle side) to the rear side of the vehicle.
    CAUTION: When wider front hood opening is necessary, set the stay assembly front hood mounting position (vehicle side) first.
