Check Seating Sensor Mat

  1. Disconnect the connector of the seat belt switch and seating sensor mat.
  2. Measure the resistance between the terminals when the seating sensor mat is in each of the following operation conditions.
    • RH
      Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard Circuit
      1 - 2 Do not sit on the rear seat RH 1 MΩ or more

      1 - 2 Sit on the rear seat RH 1 Ω or less
    • CTR
      Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard Circuit
      1 - 3 Do not sit on the rear seat CTR 1 MΩ or more

      1 - 3 Sit on the rear seat CTR 1 Ω or less
    • LH
    Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard Circuit
    2 - 4 Do not sit on the rear seat LH 1 MΩ or more

    2 - 4 Sit on the rear seat LH 1 Ω or less
  3. Replace the rear seating sensor mat together with the seat cushion pad if the inspection result is not within the standard value.
