Select Lever: Removal

NOTE: Shift lock solenoid and "P range" switch cannot be disassembled.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the mat center tray.

  3. Release the shift lock using a screwdriver, etc. and shift the select lever to the "N range".

  4. Lower the section (A) of the boot.

  5. Remove the clamp (A) and remove the grip.

  6. Remove the boot.

  7. Remove the cover center side RH and the cover center side LH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>REMOVAL
  8. Remove the duct console center. (Models with rear seat air conditioning) Ref. to REMOVAL .
  9. Remove the select cable. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT CABLE>REMOVAL .
  10. Disconnect the connector.

  11. Remove the bolts which secure the select lever.

  12. Remove the clip securing the harness, and remove the select lever.
