Engine Wiring Harness: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (W/O STI)>INTAKE MANIFOLD>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the fuel insulator. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (W/O STI)>FUEL INSULATOR>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the engine control module (ECM). Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (W/O STI)>ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM)>REMOVAL .
  5. Disconnect the connector from the engine.

  6. Remove the engine wiring harness.

  7. Remove the harness stay.
