High-Pressure Fuel Delivery Pipe ASSY
- Install the high-pressure fuel delivery pipe assembly.CAUTION: Always use a new high-pressure fuel delivery pipe assembly.
- Temporarily tighten the flare nut (A) to the fuel injector pipe by hand until it is seated, and secure the high-pressure fuel delivery pipe assembly to the water pipe assembly using bolts (B).
Tightening torque:
T1: 6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)
- Tighten the flare nuts (A).
Tightening torque:
T2: 25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)
- Temporarily tighten the flare nut (A) to the fuel injector pipe by hand until it is seated, and secure the high-pressure fuel delivery pipe assembly to the water pipe assembly using bolts (B).
- Install the fuel pipe insulator No. 3. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (W/O STI)>FUEL INSULATOR>INSTALLATION>FUEL PIPE INSULATOR NO. 3 .
- Install the fuel pipe insulator No. 2. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (W/O STI)>FUEL INSULATOR>INSTALLATION>FUEL PIPE INSULATOR NO. 2 .
- Install the fuel pipe insulator No. 1. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (W/O STI)>FUEL INSULATOR>INSTALLATION>FUEL PIPE INSULATOR NO. 1 .
- Install the intake manifold. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (W/O STI)>INTAKE MANIFOLD>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
