Fuel Pump Circuit
CAUTION:
After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode Refer to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (W/O STI)>CLEAR MEMORY MODE>OPERATION ., and inspection mode Refer to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (W/O STI)>INSPECTION MODE>PROCEDURE .
- CHECK OPERATING SOUND OF FUEL PUMP.
Make sure that the fuel pump operates for two seconds when turning the ignition switch to ON.
NOTE: Fuel pump operation can be executed using Subaru Select Monitor.
For detailed operation procedures, refer to the "Active Test" Refer to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (W/O STI)>ACTIVE TEST .Does the fuel pump emit operating sound?
Yes: Check the fuel injector circuit Refer to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (W/O STI)>DIAGNOSTICS FOR ENGINE STARTING FAILURE>FUEL INJECTOR CIRCUIT .
No: Display the DTC. Refer to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (W/O STI)>READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>OPERATION .
