Intake Side

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery.
  2. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (STI)>INTAKE MANIFOLD>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the oil flow control solenoid valve.

  4. Remove the oil return cover.
    NOTE: Perform this procedure only when it is necessary.
