Shift Lock Solenoid and P Range Switch: Installation

Connect the solenoid unit terminals.

Install the solenoid unit.
NOTE:
- Insert the solenoid unit while raising the shift lock plate upward by finger, and insert the tip of solenoid unit into the hole of shift lock plate.
- Apply 0.2 g (0.007 oz) of Multemp D No. 2 to the tip of solenoid unit.
- After installation, make sure that the tip of solenoid unit is securely inserted in the shift lock plate by visually checking from the side of select lever.

Install the harness.
Install the connector.
Install the select lever. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>Select Lever>INSTALLATION .
