Outer Mirror Control Module: Installation

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

Install the outer mirror control module.
Install the trim panel front door.
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE > BATTERY .
When the outer mirror CM was replaced with a new part, perform the following steps.
1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform [Write Control module setting information] in [Work Support] of [Door Mirror (Driver)] or [Door Mirror (Passenger)]. Ref. to DOOR MIRROR (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION > WRITE ECU SETTING SAVE DATA .
2. Perform file writing according to the display screen.
3. Setting information writing is completed.
