LH Side

Remove the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DOTC)>BATTERY> REMOVAL .
Remove the ignition coil (LH side). Ref. to IGNITION (H4DOTC)>IGNITION COIL>REMOVAL>LH SIDE .
Remove the pipe evaporator cooling from the clip, and remove the bolt securing the CVTF cooler pipe No. 2.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to bend the pipe evaporator cooling and the CVTF cooler pipe No. 2.

NOTE:
This procedure is necessary to secure the operation space during installation/removal of the spark plug.

Remove the spark plug.
NOTE:
Magnet type plug wrench is recommended.
