Unit Registration: Operation

CAUTION:

Perform this operation while having all modules installed at shipment connected.

(Example: Do not perform this operation with the engine control module removed.)

On [Start] screen, select [Immobilizer etc. registration].
On [Select Registration] screen, select [Unit Registration (Update & Verification)].
Then, when a message screen is displayed, follow the instructions on the screen.

NOTE:

When replacing the engine control module, perform VIN registration first. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DOTC)>WORK SUPPORT
If an error message is displayed during module registration, check the list of error messages. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>UNIT REGISTRATION>INSPECTION
When using the Subaru Select Monitor, turn the ignition switch to ON (engine OFF).
