When The CROSSMEMBER COMPL Front Was Not Removed
- Use a new O-ring to install the oil level switch, and secure the harness with the clip.NOTE: Apply engine oil to O-ring.
Tightening torque:
6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)
- Secure the harness with clip, and connect the connector.
- Install the engine mounting LH. Ref. to MECHANICAL (H4DOTC)>ENGINE MOUNTING>INSTALLATION .
- Lower the engine and remove the lifting device and wire ropes.
- Remove the ST.
- Install the pitching stopper. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>TRANSMISSION MOUNTING SYSTEM>INSTALLATION>PITCHING STOPPER .
- Install the front drive shaft LH. Ref. to PROPELLER SHAFT/DRIVE SHAFT/AXLE>FRONT DRIVE SHAFT>INSTALLATION .
- Install the electric power steering gearbox. Ref. to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM (POWER STEERING)>ELECTRIC POWER STEERING GEARBOX>INSTALLATION .
- Install the nuts which hold the engine mounting to the crossmember COMPL front.CAUTION: Be sure to use a new nut.NOTE: Make sure that locators (a) of the engine mounting are securely inserted.
Tightening torque:
90 N.m (9.2 kgf-m, 66.4 ft-lb)
- Install the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DOTC)>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION .
- Install the intercooler. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>INTERCOOLER>INSTALLATION .
- Install the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>INSTALLATION .
- Install the V-belt cover.NOTE:
- Check the grommet for peel-off or disengagement.
- Be careful not to deform the bracket during installation.
Tightening torque:
7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)
- Fill engine oil. Ref. to LUBRICATION (H4DOTC)>ENGINE OIL>REPLACEMENT .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Fill engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H4DOTC)>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
- Set the hood COMPL front to the normal position. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>STAY ASSEMBLY FRONT HOOD .
- Install the striker assembly front hood. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>FRONT HOOD>ASSEMBLY .
