Scavenge Pump: Installation

Install the scavenge pump.
1. Set a new O-ring and a scavenge pump to the cylinder block, and tighten the bolt.
  CAUTION: After tightening, check that the scavenge pump is seated on the cylinder block securely.
  
  Tightening torque:
  
  5.9 N.m (0.6 kgf-m, 4.4 ft-lb)
2. Tighten all the bolts again.
  Tightening torque:
  
  6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

Install the oil jet.
Tightening torque:

6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

Install the crank sprocket. Ref. to MECHANICAL (H4DOTC)>CRANK SPROCKET>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
