Check Seating Sensor Mat

Preparation tool: 

Circuit tester

1. Disconnect the connector of the seat belt switch and seating sensor mat.
2. Measure the resistance between the terminals when the seating sensor mat is in each of the following operation conditions.
   • RH 

     Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard	Circuit
     1 - 2	Do not sit on the seat RH	1 MΩ or more	Courtesy of SUBARU OF AMERICA, INC.
     1 - 2	Sit on the seat RH	1 Ω or less

   • CTR 

     Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard	Circuit
     1 - 2	Do not sit on the seat CTR	1 MΩ or more	Courtesy of SUBARU OF AMERICA, INC.
     1 - 2	Sit on the seat CTR	1 Ω or less

   • LH 

   Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard	Circuit
   1 - 2	Do not sit on the seat LH	1 MΩ or more	Courtesy of SUBARU OF AMERICA, INC.
   1 - 2	Sit on the seat LH	1 Ω or less

3. Replace the seating sensor mat together with the seat cushion pad if the inspection result is not within the standard value.
