Fuel Tank: Assembly

  1. Install the cushion assembly (A) to the fuel tank. (When replacing with a new part)
    NOTE: After installing the cushion assembly, confirm that the claw section on the cushion assembly is securely inserted into the fuel tank.
  2. Attach the cushion (B) to the fuel tank. (When replacing with a new part)
    NOTE:
    • When replacing the fuel tank with a new one, attach a new cushion before using.
    • Before attaching the cushion, degrease the attaching surface of fuel tank.

  3. Install the fuel tank cover to the fuel tank.
    CAUTION: Check that the fuel tank cover has no deformation, cracks or other damages. If the fuel tank cover is defective, replace it with a new fuel tank cover.

  4. Install the fuel sub delivery tube. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect individual hoses to the fuel tank. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>FUEL TANK 1 .
