Ball Joint: Removal

  1. Remove the front wheels. Ref. to WHEEL AND TIRE SYSTEM>TIRE AND WHEEL>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the ball joint COMPL.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the boot of the ball joint.
    1. Remove the cotter pin (a).
    2. Remove the castle nut (b) and washer (c).
    3. Use a ball joint puller (d) to detach the arm assembly front (e).

    4. Remove the bolt and pull out the ball joint COMPL.
