Common Diagnostic Operations: Customize: Operation

  1. CHANGING CUSTOMIZE ITEMS 
    1. On [Start] screen, select [Diagnosis].
    2. On [Vehicle selection] screen, input the target vehicle information and press [OK].
    3. On [Main Menu] screen, select [Customize].
    4. On [Select System] screen, select the corresponding system and press [Select].
      NOTE: Selecting [All system] will display all customize items in All system.
    5. On [Customize] screen, select an item to be customized and press [Change].
      NOTE:
      • For detailed operation procedures, refer to "Application help".
      • If not equipped (depending on destination area or vehicle equipment condition), the setting will not become effective.
  2. SAVE SETTINGS / READ SETTINGS 

    When the control module is replaced, it is possible to save the customizing information set for the vehicle to the Subaru Select Monitor, and write it to the new control module.

    1. On [Start] screen, select [Diagnosis].
    2. On [Vehicle selection] screen, input the target vehicle information and press [OK].
    3. On [Main Menu] screen, select [Customize].
    4. On [Select System] screen, select the corresponding system and press [Select].
      NOTE: By selecting [All system], you can save all customize items in All system. 
    5. On [Customize] screen, press [Save settings].
    6. Save the file.
    7. Replace the control module, then connect the Subaru Select Monitor.
    8. On [Start] screen, select [Diagnosis].
    9. On [Select System] screen, input the target vehicle information and press [OK].
    10. On [Main Menu] screen, select [Customize].
    11. On [Select Function] screen, select the corresponding system and press [Select].
    12. On [Customize] screen, press [Read settings].
    13. After the data is read out, press [Change] to perform reading.
