Cockpit Display: Installation

  1. Install the cockpit control module. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>COCKPIT DISPLAY>ASSEMBLY .
  2. Install the data communication module. (Model with telematics) Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE>INSTALLATION>DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE .
  3. Install the multiview control assembly. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>CONTROL UNIT>INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the backup unit assembly. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>BACKUP UNIT>INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the center information display assembly.
    CAUTION: Do not allow the harnesses and cords to interfere with or get caught by other parts.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  6. Install the grille speaker assembly CTR. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>Front Speaker>REMOVAL > CENTER 
  7. Install the grille ventilation assembly center. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT GRILLE>INSTALLATION>CENTER GRILLE ASSEMBLY .
  8. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  9. When replacing the cockpit control module, store the [Cockpit Control] customizing information. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>Customize>OPERATION > Save settings / Read settings
