Oil Pipe: Removal
CAUTION:
If the engine oil is spilt over the engine, exhaust pipe or the under cover, completely wipe it off to avoid emission of smoke or causing a fire.
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the V-belts. Ref. to MECHANICAL (H4DOTC)>V-BELT>REMOVAL>V-BELT .
- Drain engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H4DOTC)>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
- Remove the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DOTC)>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>REMOVAL .
- Remove the oil pipe.
CAUTION:
- Keep in mind that engine oil may remain in the oil pipe.
- Use cloth to catch the engine oil in order to prevent it from splashing.
