Fuel Pump Side

NOTE: Components: Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>FUEL PUMP .
  1. Remove the fuel pump assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the fuel level sensor from the fuel pump assembly.
    1. Disconnect the connector (A).
    2. Disconnect the connector (B).
    3. Pull out the connector cable and fuel level sensor harness from the clip.

    4. Press the claw (A) of the fuel level sensor to unlock.
    5. Slide the fuel level sensor in the direction of the arrow, and remove the fuel level sensor.
