Forward Clutch: Inspection

  1. Check that there is no deformation, cracks or other damages.
  2. Check the bearing for smooth rotation.
  3. Check the bearing for looseness.
  4. Inspect the drive plate facing for excessive wear.
  5. Check the driven plate for discoloration (seizure).
  6. Check the clutch clearance. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION(TR580)>FORWARD CLUTCH>ASSEMBLY > FORWARD CLUTCH .
