Line Pressure Sensor: Removal

CAUTION:
  • Vehicle components are extremely hot immediately after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.
  • If CVTF spills over the exhaust pipe, completely wipe it off to avoid emitting smoke and causing a fire.
  • If water or oil contacts the connector terminal of line pressure sensor, replace it with a new part.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the front wheel LH. Ref. to WHEEL AND TIRE SYSTEM>TIRE AND WHEEL>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the crossmember support rear LH. Ref. to FRONT SUSPENSION>CROSSMEMBER SUPPORT>REMOVAL .
  4. Disconnect the connector and remove the line pressure sensor.
    CAUTION: Prepare the container for draining of CVTF.

  5. Remove the O-ring from the line pressure sensor.
