WARNING: During the line pressure test, confirm safety in the vicinity and make sure no person is around the vehicle.
CAUTION: Vehicle components are extremely hot immediately after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.
  1. Check the engine oil level. Ref. to LUBRICATION (H4DO)>ENGINE OIL>INSPECTION .
  2. Check the engine coolant level. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO)>ENGINE COOLANT>INSPECTION .
  3. Remove the front wheel LH. Ref. to WHEEL AND TIRE SYSTEM>TIRE AND WHEEL>REMOVAL .

  5. Remove the test plug (line pressure), and install the ST.
    CAUTION:
    • Because the CVTF will flow out, install the ST quickly.
    • Be careful when setting the tool so that the ST does not touch the exhaust pipe.
    • Prepare the container for draining of CVTF.
    NOTE:
    • Use the ST with genuine O-ring (part No. 806908150) attached.
