Fuel Pressure Sensor: Removal
WARNING:
Place "NO OPEN FLAMES" signs near the working area.
CAUTION:
- Be careful not to spill fuel .
- Catch the fuel from the pipes using a container or cloth .
NOTE:
Components: Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>FUEL INJECTOR .
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the air intake boot.
- Remove the clip.
- Loosen the clamp.
- Remove the air intake boot, and place it aside so that it does not interfere with the work.CAUTION: Be careful not to pull out the PCV hose.
- Remove the fuel injector RH. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL INJECTOR>REMOVAL>FUEL INJECTOR RH .NOTE: When replacing the fuel pressure sensor or fuel injector pipe RH, it is not necessary to remove the fuel pressure sensor from the fuel injector pipe RH as both parts are replaced with new parts.
