Select Lever: Installation

  1. Install the select cable to the select lever. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT CABLE>INSTALLATION .
  2. Install the clip which holds the harness, and set the select lever.
  3. Install the bolt which holds the select lever.

    Tightening torque: 

    18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)

  4. Connect the connector.
  5. Connect the select cable to the transmission main body. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT CABLE>INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the duct console center. (Models with rear seat air conditioning) Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT DUCT>INSTALLATION>CONSOLE DUCT>CENTER .
  7. Install the cover center side RH and the cover center side LH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the cover assembly front and the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>INSTALLATION .
  9. Install the boot to the indicator assembly.
  10. Install the clamp to the grip.
    NOTE: Insert it from the front side.
  11. Install the grip.
    NOTE: Install it while pressing on the clamp.
  12. Install the boot to the grip.
  13. Release the shift lock using a screwdriver, etc. and shift the select lever to the "P range".
  14. Install the mat center tray.
  15. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
