Select Lever: Removal

NOTE:

The shift lock solenoid, "P range" switch and manual mode switch are integrated with the select lever.
The select lever cannot be disassembled.

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Remove the mat center tray.

Release the shift lock using a screwdriver, etc. and shift the select lever to the "N range".

Lower the section (A) of the boot.

Remove the clamp (A) and remove the grip.

Remove the cover assembly front and the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL .
Remove the cover center side RH and the cover center side LH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>REMOVAL .
Remove the duct console center. (Models with rear seat air conditioning) Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT DUCT>REMOVAL>CONSOLE DUCT>CENTER .
Disconnect the select cable from the transmission main body. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT CABLE>REMOVAL .
Disconnect the connector.

Remove the clip securing the harness, and remove the select lever.

Remove the bolts which secure the select lever.

Remove the select cable from the select lever. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT CABLE>REMOVAL .
