If the starter or TCM is replaced, always clear the start count or transfer the information of start count.

• Starter replacement: Start count clearing Ref. to AUTO START STOP (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION>START COUNT CLEARING .
• TCM replacement^*1 : Start count reading and writing Ref. to AUTO START STOP (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION>START COUNT READING ECU TO SSM . Ref. to AUTO START STOP (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION>START COUNT WRITING SSM TO ECU .

  *1: Let the Subaru Select Monitor read "Start Count" before removing the used TCM, and then write these "Start Count" after installing a new TCM.

  Preconditions for clearing the start count

• Number of times for starting is other than 0
• Common execution condition is established
