WARNING:
When performing inspection mode R on a public road, pay sufficient attention to the traffic condition and give the highest priority to safe driving.
NOTE:
Perform the inspection mode after warming up the engine except that the engine coolant temperature at engine start is specified.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Engine]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Keep the engine at idle for at least 30 seconds in a fully warm-up condition.
- Start the driving.
- With the gear position in the 4th in the manual mode for CVT model, and in the 4th for MT model, take 10 seconds to accelerate from 1500 RPM to 4000 RPM.
- Decelerate to 1500 RPM in the 4th gear position. (There is no restrictions to the deceleration duration and how to use the brake.)
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 10 times. (End when the pending code is acquired.)
