WARNING:
When performing inspection mode AX on a public road, pay sufficient attention to the traffic condition and give the highest priority to safe driving.
NOTE:
Perform the inspection mode after warming up the engine except that the engine coolant temperature at engine start is specified.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Engine]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Drive according to the drive pattern described below.
(1) 0 km/h (0 MPH) (2) 65 km/h (40 MPH) (3) Vehicle speed (4) Time (A) Idle the engine for five seconds or more. (B) Acceleration (Keep in the 5th gear position or higher with the vehicle speed up to 60 km/h (37.2 MPH) as a reference.) (C) Vehicle speed exceeds 65 km/h (40.4 MPH). (D) Driving time (There is no restriction for driving time.) (E) Deceleration (There is no specified deceleration method.) - Read the pending code using the Subaru Select Monitor or general scan tool. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
