Select Lever: Removal

NOTE:

Components: Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>SELECT LEVER .
The "P" range switch and manual mode switch are integrated with the select lever.
The select lever cannot be disassembled.

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .

Remove the mat tray center. (Model without wireless charger)

Release the clips using a flat tip screwdriver or similar tool wrapped with protection tape.

Remove the mat tray center.

Remove the wireless charger assembly. (Model with wireless charger) Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>WIRELESS CHARGER>REMOVAL .

Shift the select lever to "N range".

Lower the section (A) of the boot. (Model with boot shifter)

Lower the cover grip AT (A) vertically toward the lever. (Model with gate shifter)

Remove the grip.

Remove the console box. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL .
Remove the cover center side. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>REMOVAL .
Disconnect the connector.
