Thermal Switch

Drain cooling system and remove thermal switch from intake manifold. In a pan of cool water, cool switch to below 86°F (30°C). Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between terminals. In a pan of hot water, heat switch to above 116°F (46.5°C). With ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between terminals.
