Fuel-Cut System

The fuel-cut solenoid valve is operated by the ignition switch and the ECM. When the ignition is turned off or during deceleration, the electrical current to the solenoid is cut off. The fuel-cut solenoid valve closes the fuel passage and stops the fuel flow into the idle down channel.
