Engine Compartment Thermal Switch

Disconnect engine compartment thermal switch electrical connector. See Figure . Attach ohmmeter between terminals on switch side. With ambient temperature BELOW 44°F (7°C), zero ohm should be present. With ambient temperature ABOVE 67°F (19.5°C), ohmmeter should read infinity. If not within specifications, replace switch.
